Vorige maand vierde ik mijn eerste lustrum bij LVT PR. Vijf jaar public relations, vijf heel diverse jaren! En het mooiste is dat de uitdaging en het plezier er nog steeds zijn. Nog steeds is er geen enkele saaie dag op kantoor. Dankzij de collega’s en de klanten is het een heerlijke baan. Vorig jaar hadden we een collega die ging trouwen. Regelmatig kregen we een update van de planning rondom het huwelijk. Er ging een wereld voor mij open! Nooit bij stil gestaan wat daar allemaal omheen hangt en wie zijn brood verdient met trouwerijen. Er kwamen heel veel keuzes voorbij in een wereld die mij totaal vreemd was. Want ik ben niet getrouwd. Maar helemaal monogaam blijk ik ook niet te zijn.
Als ik kijk naar vijf jaar werken bij LVT, dan realiseer ik me dat ik het afgelopen jaar eigenlijk ook wel heel vaak getrouwd ben. Ik ben een relatie aangegaan met Oxxio en Eneco die klant werden bij LVT PR. En opeens kwam ik in een wereld van duurzame energie, vaste en variabele tarieven, slimme meters en warmte- en koudeopslag. De energiebranche blijkt een bijzonder interessante markt te zijn waar heel veel in gebeurt. Dagelijks worden daar interessante keuzes gemaakt. Maar dit jaar trouwde ik ook met Casio en dook ik in de wereld van horloges met een mooie wedergeboorte van de G-Shock. En pas nog ben ik getrouwd met Beemster kaas. Opeens ontdek en leer ik wat de voorwaarden zijn voor een blije koe.
Ik ben helemaal niet monogaam en wil dat ook niet zijn! Want de wereld die openging voor mijn collega die trouwde, die ontdek ik met iedere nieuwe klant. Samen kijken we naar de wereld die zich om het bedrijf heen beweegt. En kijken we hoe we de bedrijfsdoelstellingen ondersteunen en waardoor we samen ‘de kleine’ kunnen laten groeien.
Het is geweldig om met de collega’s en de klant een team te vormen. Elkaar scherp te houden en samen hard te werken om ‘het huwelijk’ goed te houden. Regelmatig elkaar verrassen, blijkt goed te werken, ook af en toe met elkaar lunchen doet het goed. Ik hou van het huwelijk. Ben benieuwd wie er dit jaar allemaal met mij wil trouwen? En monogamie? Voor mij voorlopig niet!
